Data is the cornerstone for successful data analysis, application development, and innovation in IoT solutions. In reality, devices might already be connected to a 3rd-party cloud or system, for example, to the system of the device manufacturer. In this scenario, EnOS provides the offline message integration function, to help you migrate the historical data of devices from 3rd-party systems to EnOS.
What is Offline Message Integration?
In order to connect data residing in a 3rd-party system to EnOS, EnOS provides a dedicated integration channel for offline messages. Data integrated through this dedicated channel goes through the same flow as the real-time ingested data, aka, the data will be routed to Kafka topics to be consumed by stream processing engine, stored into TSDB based on configured policy, etc. You can then consume the data by calling EnOS APIs or data subscriptions.
Where Can I Find Offline Message Integration?
Log in to EnOS Cloud and go to Device Management > Message Integration.
